JOB DESCRIPTION

Strategic Planning

• Conceptualize and implement strict measures in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and equipment centrelines for installation, automation, modification and commissioning of machines.
• Develop and implement strategic objectives and standards and schedules for the plant.
• Upgrading of Infrastructure facilities in company to cater the changing business need.
• Annual Business Planning, Budgeting, CAPEX Planning.
• KAIZEN & Cost saving Planning & effective implementation.

Manufacturing Operations:

• Provide overall direction and control of manufacturing operations, ensure the delivery of required output from the units at the desired cost, quality, time; drive for improvements and change initiatives.
• Responsible for overall cost & profitability of the Zone. To ensure the maximum utilization of the plant and equipment.
• To ensure rigorous implementation of GMP, GHK, Quality Management System and Consumer safety guidelines in manufacturing operation.
• Responsible for maintaining a cohesive and harmonious relationship in the Manufacturing Team.
• Develop skill level of Region and supporting them to achieve their targets.
• Maintain and follow the inventory norms for RM/PM, Engineering & Finished goods.
• Responsible for all the targets (i.e. key performance indicators) pertaining to the Zone like output, power utilization, Opex, Capex, Wastage, Inventory, Maximization of Market returned bottles Utilization etc
• Managing & handling all projects for the Zone
• To ensure timely launching of new products.
• Responsible for compliance of all regulatory & statutory norms as applicable
• Establish good relationships & Effective communication channels and collaboration with Sales & Marketing Team, corporate functional heads and Top management.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure high quality which fulfills customer Satisfaction, Ensure 100% Quality standards, Assure best Compliance throughout Pan India Operation.
• To ensure implementation of Quality Improvement Programmes to achieve Zero Defect and Right First Time in operations and continuous improvement in process capabilities.
• Responsible for implementing systems & processes by leading and supporting the team to follow the best practices to improve the bench on cost, EHS & quality.
• Preparation of SOPs & Work Instruction for each processes for all Zones.
• Streamline each processes as per requirement of Product for all Zones.
• Maintain quality standards for incoming materials, in-process, finished products, packaging inspections ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards, norms & practices, identifying gaps and taking corrective & preventive action for all Zones..
• Implementation of various Plant practices like Hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good House Keeping (GHK) Practices throughout all zones.
• Develop new process concepts and process improvement by Idea generation (Brainstorming & Affinity Diagram), Situation analysis (Cause-Effect Analysis, Root Cause analysis, Flowcharting), Data Classification (Histogram, Pareto Analysis), Option selection (Multivoting, Ranking Matrix).
• Conduct system and engineering audits, on a regular basis in all zones & implement the changes required for the product.
• Conduct & implement HACCP analysis and ISO9001 Quality procedure to identify any control points in designs/Process & make relevant modifications.

Dairy / Malt Food

• Managing operations within the dairy and malted food sectors.

Maintenance

• Plan and effect breakdown maintenance, Preventive cum Cost Based Maintenance Planning (CBMP) & Annual Maintenance schedules of various machineries to increase machine up time and equipment reliability.
• Proactively identify areas of obstruction/breakdowns and take steps to rectify the equipments through application of trouble shooting tools.
• Reduce the machine down time by line wise, category wise, machine wise Pareto Analysis.
• Save expenses due to recurring failures & recurring cost of equipments/Spares & Plant.

Accounts and Finance

• Handle critical issues pertaining to Sales Tax, State Excise, Central Excise, P.F., and ESI of all zones.
• Cost analysis of product.
• Annual Business Planning & Budgeting.

Procurement

• Sourcing and developing quality vendor base for cost effective procurement and timely deliveries on a long term basis.
• Vendor Developments, Vendor analysis & evaluation as per desired quality standard of input materials..
• Responsible for Planning of Raw material, Packaging materials, Spares & other consumable purchase, price analysis, negotiation & Follow up with the supplier.
• Analysis of consumption pattern and yield analysis of Raw Materials & Packaging materials & consumables for all Zones.

Shipping/Logistic:

• Responsible for Transporter’s Selection & finalization of Rate for hired vehicle of product delivery.
• Responsible for total warehouse management & timely Dispatch of Finished product for all zones.

HR & Administration

• Team building and effective leadership to realize the potential of every member of manufacturing team.
• Preparing the training schedules for the employees as per the skill gap analysis.
• Liaisoning with Govt. Authorities, Ministers, Politicians for land acquisition, new project, approval of subsidy & maintaining the statutory obligation.
• Negotiation of workers Union or representative for Company owned units, if required.
• Responsible for all the activities of Training & recruitment process.
• Set up performance measurement systems for all the personnel of manufacturing team through KRA.
• Responsible for all Matters related to Safety and Health aspects of manufacturing.

Experience Range: 17-25 Years
