Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive
Sales Engineer
with a mechanical engineering background to join our
Hyderabad
team. The role involves identifying potential clients, providing technical solutions, and driving regional sales growth. A passion for industrial sales and a customer-focused approach are essential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
    in the Pune region.
  • Conduct cold calls, client meetings, and on-site visits
    to generate leads and drive sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships
    with existing and prospective clients.
  • Understand customer needs
    and
    provide appropriate technical solutions
    and product demonstrations.
  • Prepare and negotiate quotations
    , close sales, and ensure proper execution of contracts.
  • Offer after-sales support
    and address client queries or concerns promptly.
  • Track sales activity
    , analyze market trends, and submit periodic performance reports.
  • Participate in trade exhibitions, industry events,
    and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams
    to develop customer-focused solutions.
  • Train customers and internal stakeholders
    on product usage and applications.
  • Update CRM systems regularly
    with client interactions and progress reports.
  • Support junior staff
    in meeting team targets and contribute to collective success.
  • Work closely with reporting managers
    to align sales strategies and execution plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
    or a related technical field is required.
  • Proven experience in technical or industrial sales
    , preferably in B2B environments.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    with a client-focused mindset.
  • Ability to travel within the region
    to meet clients and attend industry events.
  • Ownership of a two-wheeler
    is preferred (travel allowance will be provided).
  • Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office
    for sales tracking and reporting.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently
    as well as within a team.
  • Fluency in English and the local language
    for effective communication.
