We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tutor specializing in Data Science to join our team at Coursevita. As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive instruction and support to learners enrolled in our Data Science courses, helping them develop essential skills and expertise in data science.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct live online tutoring sessions for learners enrolled in Data Science courses, covering foundational concepts, techniques, and methodologies in data science.

  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans, tutorials, and assignments tailored to the learning objectives and skill levels of learners.

  • Provide personalized guidance, feedback, and support to learners to help them understand complex data science concepts, algorithms, and tools.

  • Facilitate discussions, group projects, and hands-on activities to reinforce learning and promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills among learners.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, advancements, and best practices in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

  • Assist in the development and enhancement of course content, curriculum, and learning resources based on learner feedback and industry trends.

  • Collaborate with other tutors, subject matter experts, and instructional designers to ensure the quality and effectiveness of Data Science courses.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and continuous improvement among learners.

  • Provide support and guidance to learners outside of scheduled tutoring sessions through email, discussion forums, and virtual office hours.

  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, learner progress, and performance evaluations in the company's learning management system.


Requirements

Technical Expertise Expected:

  • Strong understanding of core concepts and principles of data science, including data analysis, statistical modelling, machine learning, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with data science libraries and frameworks, such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Experience working with data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques using tools like pandas and SQL.
  • Ability to explain complex data science algorithms, methodologies, and techniques in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Experience applying data science concepts to real-world problems and projects, including data wrangling, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Knowledge of data ethics, privacy regulations, and best practices in data science is a plus.

Requirements
1. Data science fundamentals: analysis, modeling, ML, and visualization. 2. Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL. 3. Familiarity with key libraries: NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch. 4.
