JOB PROFILE

To work with Production team and ensure process as per the SOP and improve the systems with basics chemical engineering principals. To ensure the 100% Process as per the SOP and improve the Process.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Good with Chemical engineering basics and calculations for equipment design etc. Production experience is an added advantage. (Not as pure operator but someone who has experience as an engineer responsible for optimization/ process improvements etc.)
  • Will have to work closely with R&D during lab trials and design the what-if studies.
  • Work in designing of pilot trials.
  • Should have understanding of process control and process safety strategies for batch processes.
  • Will have to scale-up lab/ pilot process to commercial plant. Will be responsible for preparation of final technical packages.
  • Should have knowledge of PRA/HAZOP process.
  • Should be able to write control logics/ sequences for PLC/ DCS.
  • Will have to be part of pre-commissioning to ensure the plant setup meets the process requirements.
  • Will be monitoring closely validation/ commissioning batches (to achieve the defined BCT, yields, quality and safety performance defined for the project) till the product is handed over to production teams.
  • Will have to work closely with Production teams to improve HSEQ and process efficiencies – continuous improvements.
  • Will have to participate in Green-field Project basic and detailed engineering activities and also pre-commissioning and start-up activities.


QUALIFICTION/EXPERIENCE

  • BE Chemical Engineering / Petrochemical Engineering
  • 3 - 8 yrs experience in Process Technology, Tech Transfer, Pilot, Scale-up
  • Chemical, Pharmaceuticals, Agro Ingredients Industries exposure is necessary
  • Open to Relocate Berigai/Hosur
