About the team:
A role with Business team means being a part of the team that enables faster, smarter and more scalable decision-making to compete and win the modern retail market. Here, you’ll leverage data, statistics and visualization to create the actionable insights that deliver value across all Target functions. Our savvy reporting and analytics pros use market-leading tools and data automation to make a positive impact that’s felt across the business. If you’re an analyst who can work on autonomous teams, integrate the latest practices with your approach, write code to handle massive scale, simplify complex decisions by providing flexible, fast and sustainable decision-making solutions, then you’ll be successful here.
About the role:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, IT or other analytic discipline, or equivalent experience 2+ year as a Data Analyst with strong academic performance in a quantitative field; or strong equivalent experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Supply Chain Intermediate SQL experience writing complex queries Solid problem solving, analytical skills, data curiosity, data mining, Data creation and consolidation Support conclusions with a clear, understandable story that leverages descriptive statistics, basic inferential statistics, and data visualizations Willingness to ask questions about business objectives and the measurement needs for a project workstream, and be able to measure objectives & key results Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak to both business and technical teams, and translate ideas between them Influence data & reporting maturity, enabled by intermediate understanding of business processes & objectives Experience working effectively with a global team Experience in analytics tools such as: SQL, Excel, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Python, R, Domo, Power BI, Adobe Analytics (or Google Analytics), SAP Analytics Cloud, and/or equivalent technologies-
