In this role, you will work within an electrical design team for Plant engineering projects and do electrical detailed engineering drawings and models.
Roles and Responsibilities
Have to work on detail design which can include, Electrical 2D Site Plans , Site Grounding Plans
Conduit, Tray, Raceway Details ,Industrial Electric Motor Termination Details , Lighting, Fixtures and other miscellaneous installation details
Package Equipment conduit/raceway penetrations
Coordinate with instrumentation and controls engineering and mechanical design engineering to develop both 2D and 3D drawings/documents that are free of clashes
Execute Electrical Engineering calculation and studies on Lightning, Illumination, Load Flow, Coordination, or Fault.
Implement 2D CAD standards in drawing development
Produce electrical material take-off and Bills of Material (BOM) as appropriate and needed as per project
Understand and Develop checklists and review sheet as required
Add keynotes and requirements on drawings for installation, inspection, and testing requirements of a fabricator or field installer
Coordinate with vendors and support in aligning with Projects requirements may Drawings reviews, feedback
Requirements :
Electrical Engineering: 3-7 years experience industrial plant electrical detail design
Exposure to design-to-execution project cycle for implemented Live project.
Understand Electrical hazardous areas / zones as per US Standards
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
Proficiency in Advanced Steel ETAP or other electrical simulation software experience is a plus
Hands-on knowledge of cable, wireway, raceway, and means/methods for electrical distribution construction, installation, and maintenance
Practical knowledge of electrical safety including arc flash, electrocution hazards, electrical grounding
Fluent in spoken and written English
Eager to solve problems creatively and collaboratively.
