Job Summary:
Solar Rooftop Plant O&M Technician/Sr. Technician is responsible for the operation, Repair & Maintenance of solar power Plant. The technician has to ensures that the solar PV plants are operated safely, efficiently and in accordance to generation benchmarks of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all works are performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company standards.
- Perform regular maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with solar PV systems, including electrical (AC & DC) and mechanical components.
- General maintenance of plant including MMS and Roof.
- Operation and maintenance of MCS.
- Fault identification and rectification of SCB/SMB/Inverter/transformer/Panel/Meter/cables/DC and AC system.
- Prepare DGR for the plant.
- Perform string monitoring and completing module cleaning targets.
- Performing cable glanding, termination, crimping and other rectification as per requirement.
- Monitor plant daily through SCADA/ Portal.
- Conducting monthly JMR and Payment follow up.
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual checks, tests and calibration to verify proper operation and conditions.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of operation & maintenance and repairs.
- Provide detailed reports on system performance and any issues encountered.
- Communicate effectively with Stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to as required to desired persons.
Education Qualification:
ITI or Diploma in EE/EEE/EC
Experience:
Minimum 1-5 years or more experience in solar O&M.
Key Skills:
Good understanding of PV systems and Electrical Concepts of AC & DC.
Well aware about rooftop safety practices.
Well Proficient with hand and power tools and instruments used in solar Plants.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in Indoors & outdoors in various weather conditions at site.
Comfortable working on rooftops.
Basic computer skills.
Good physical condition and ability to work at heights.
Good communication skills.
Salary:
Salary based on experience and qualifications.
