Job Description:
Role Overview:
The Drone Instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to individuals seeking certification for operating drones in accordance with DGCA regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of UAV technology, aviation safety standards, and instructional best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Design and develop training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and practical exercises, aligned with DGCA guidelines and industry best practices.
Regularly update training content to reflect changes in regulations, technology advancements, and safety protocols.
Instructional Delivery:
Deliver engaging and informative classroom lectures and hands-on training sessions covering topics such as UAV systems, flight operations, airspace regulations, and emergency procedures.
Provide personalized instruction and feedback to Clients/Officers to facilitate learning and skill development.
Conduct simulated flight exercises to help Clients/Students/Officers practice drone piloting techniques in a controlled environment.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Administer written exams and practical assessments to evaluate students' understanding of course material and proficiency in operating drones safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance to support certification processes.
Safety and Compliance:
Emphasize the importance of aviation safety and regulatory compliance throughout the training program.
Ensure that all training activities adhere to DGCA guidelines and industry standards for UAV operations.
Professional Development:
Stay updated on the latest developments in drone technology, regulatory requirements, and instructional methodologies through continuous learning and professional development activities.
Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to foster a culture of excellence within the training team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in aviation, engineering, or a related field.
DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Instructors License (RPIL) or equivalent certification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in UAV operations and training.
Proven experience as a drone instructor or aviation educator.
Strong knowledge of UAV systems, flight dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Demonstrated commitment to safety and professionalism in all aspects of work.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel occasionally for off-site training sessions.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules.
