We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Architect to play a crucial role in the security of driver assistance and parking systems, working with both embedded components and cloud-based backend systems.
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Architect with a strong technical background in automotive security, particularly in camera systems, parking assistance, and driver assistance. This role will focus on developing comprehensive security concepts, performing risk assessments, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement secure solutions for automotive components.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop security concepts for Driver Assistance and Parking Systems components.
- Create IT security strategies for various components, including applications, vehicles, cloud-based systems , and external servers .
- Identify and assess security risks, designing and implementing countermeasures.
- Prepare and execute test strategies and procedures to validate security implementations in E/E components.
- Conduct independent penetration testing to confirm final security acceptance and produce a comprehensive security vulnerability report.
- Conduct risk assessments based on security vulnerability reports and propose countermeasures.
- Offer security consultation within project and team environments.
- Evaluate and assess the security measures implemented by suppliers on vehicles and test benches.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience, including 3-4 years in the automotive domain .
- Expertise in IT Security including cryptography (symmetric/asymmetric), PKI, TLS, SSL, and hashing technology.
- Strong understanding of random number generation, rights management, and access management .
- Experience with Linux security and proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C or C++ .
- Knowledge of automotive system engineering and software development processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Additional Skills
- Familiarity with the automotive application stack.
- Ability to work independently on risk assessments and collaborate to improve security solutions.
