About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer
with strong expertise in
Selenium
to design, develop, and execute
automated test scripts
. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure
comprehensive test coverage
and contribute to a seamless
CI/CD process
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    Selenium WebDriver automation scripts
    for web applications.
  • Analyse requirements, create detailed test cases, and
    automate repetitive scenarios
    .
  • Execute automated tests, log defects, and track them to closure using
    Jira, Bugzilla
    , etc.
  • Integrate automated tests into the
    CI/CD pipeline
    (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Perform
    regression testing
    to ensure software stability after code changes.
  • Collaborate with manual testers to identify
    automation opportunities
    .
  • Maintain and enhance the
    automation framework
    for scalability and performance.
  • Generate
    detailed testing reports
    and documentation.

Required Skills

  • Automation Tools:
    Selenium WebDriver (
    Java / Python / C#
    )
  • Test Frameworks:
    TestNG / JUnit / NUnit
  • Programming Languages:
    Strong in
    Java
    (preferred) / Python / C#
  • Build & CI Tools:
    Maven / Gradle, Jenkins / GitLab CI / Azure DevOps
  • Version Control:
    Git / Bitbucket
  • Strong understanding of
    SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of locators, waits, POM, and data-driven testing
  • Experience with API testing
    (Postman, RestAssured preferred)
  • Familiarity with
    cloud-based testing platforms
    like Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs

Good to Have

  • Experience in
    BDD frameworks
    like Cucumber
  • Knowledge of
    Performance Testing tools
    (JMeter)
  • Exposure to
    Docker
    and containerized test environments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (ISTQB, Selenium, Java
    ) are a plus
