Job Description : Infrastructure and Network Monitoring Engineer We are seeking a Infrastructure & Network Monitoring Engineer to join our Center of Excellence team. This role is responsible for monitoring and supporting the organization’s infrastructure, including network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), on-prem servers, and conference room setups. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of network systems, server administration, and the tools required to ensure uptime and performance. Years of Experience: 3 Technologies: Network monitoring tools and Server Administration Process : ITIL and Agile(Scrum/Kanban) Key Responsibilities: Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and systems using tools like OpManager, SolarWinds, PRTG, or Zabbix. Identify and escalate network or system performance issues to senior engineers. Assist in troubleshooting basic connectivity issues and performance degradation. Document incidents, resolutions, and system health reports as per best practices. Monitor the health of conference rooms and escalate incidents with conference rooms and collaboration equipment to respective teams. Support end-users with basic IT issues related to network access and collaboration tools. Ensure smooth operation of video conferencing tools (Microsoft Teams) by assisting with setup and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of system configurations and monitoring activities. Collaborate with IT teams to improve monitoring processes and efficiency. Qualifications & Experience: Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in IT support, network monitoring, or system administration. Experience with network/system monitoring tools (OpManager, SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, etc.). Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs). Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Certifications (Preferred but not required): CompTIA Network+ or ITIL Foundation.
