Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Position Overview: Nisum Technologies is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java/J2EE development and be proficient in designing and implementing microservices. We value immediate joiners who can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

- Java/J2EE Development: Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and J2EE technologies.- Microservices Architecture: Build and deploy microservices using REST and SOAP/XML protocols, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable.- Web Services: Develop and integrate web services, ensuring they meet industry standards and best practices.- Software Development Lifecycle: Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, employing Agile and Iterative methodologies.- Analysis & Design: Utilize strong analytical skills to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement them effectively.- Database Management: Work with databases to design, query, and manage data effectively, ensuring optimal performance and integrity.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant IT experience, with a strong focus on Java/J2EE development.- Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and web services technologies (SOAP and REST).- Experience in building microservices.- Good knowledge/experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Iterative software development methodologies.- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to design effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
