Senior Program Associate

At Enviu we're looking for a Senior Program Associate to join our team.

Hi We are Enviu, an impact venture-building studio headquartered in the Netherlands with offices in India, Indonesia and Kenya. We are looking for a Senior Program Associate in our Bengaluru office with experience in Impact consulting or related fields, who can join us on our crazy mission to build impact ventures and drive systemic change.

As Senior Program Associate, you will play a key role in driving Enviu's programs in India. Working closely with the Regional Program Manager, you will independently execute parts of the program and create high-quality outputs such as grant reports, pitches, and case studies. In addition, you will contribute to fundraising and the design of new initiatives. The role combines program execution, and monitoring with ecosystem analysis and new concept design, offering an opportunity to grow into a Program Manager position and shape systemic change in the textile and agri domain.

The Senior Program Associate is a full-time role, collaborating closely internally with venture, finance, and communications teams and externally with (potential) partners and industry stakeholders. It is designed as a growth position: you will take ownership of critical deliverables and develop the skills required to grow into a Program Manager role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program execution & support (40%)

• Independently execute specific projects within the program, including developing and managing work plans, budgets, deliverables, and reporting outputs (e.g., reports, presentations, communication deliverables).
• Drives the preparation of grant reporting, writing timely, detailed reports to funders in line with their stated requirements
• Implement monitoring & evaluation frameworks, ensuring quality data collection and analysis that can be used for steering
• Assist in stakeholder management and donor engagement across program activities.
• Independently produce program materials, such as website content, presentations for conferences etc.

Program & Venture Fundraising (40%)

• Identify and research potential funders to build the program and venture funding pipeline
• Draft and refine high quality concept notes, grant proposals, and pitch materials with compelling narratives within limited timelines
• Support ventures to by leading or supporting development of proposals and high-quality responses to call for proposals
• Support the Program Manager in conceptualizing new projects, proposals, and partnerships

Domain development and ecosystem building (20%)

• Develop new program concepts from conducting research and market mapping to identify opportunities and gaps in the textile ecosystem, applying a structured, consulting-based approach to diagnose challenges and propose innovative solutions.
• Stay abreast of policy measures, government initiatives, and global trends in textile circularity and sustainability, synthesizing insights to inform program desig
• Represent Enviu at workshops, conferences, and stakeholder forums to build networks and strengthen positioning
• Contribute to content creation and thought leadership: draft case studies, blog posts, and insights pieces

Minimal requirements for the role:

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., international development, business, sustainability, social sciences)
• 4 years of professional experience in program management, impact consulting, circular economy and related fields.
• Excellent writing skills in English; proven track record in grant writing (>200k EUR), donor reporting, and/or thought leadership
• Conceptual thinker with the ability to structure new ideas into proposals and program concepts and pitches using your design and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Canva, or similar)
• Strong research and analytical skills; able to synthesize insights into actionable strategies and narratives
• Proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to grow into a Program Manager role.
• The ability to juggle different tasks simultaneously, prioritize tasks and projects efficiently with a hands-on mentality

And it would be a plus if you have:

• Confidence as a communicator; able to engage with partners and experience representing organizations at conferences / external events
• Professional experience in the textile or agrifood industry in India
• Familiarity with logic models, log frames and theories of change in developmental context
• Exposure to impact measurement / M&E frameworks and data collection

Enviu is an international not-for-profit social enterprise headquartered in The Netherlands. We are an impact venture-building studio, taking a programmatic approach to build ventures in fashion, retail, food and mobility sectors. Founded in 2004, Enviu became a venture studio in 2010. Enviu has (co)founded 24 impact-driven ventures since 2010. Currently, Enviu has 14 ventures in the pipeline.

Our ventures are founded on innovative business models to address food waste in Kenya, textile waste in India and Kenya, plastic waste in Indonesia and the Netherlands, as well as clean energy in the mobility sector in the Netherlands. They are designed to mitigate the negative impact of waste on the environment, while creating job opportunities. We work with ~50 great people in our offices in Rotterdam, Bangalore, Jakarta, and Nairobi.
