Technical Expertise

  • 8+ years of software architecture experience with 3+ years in fintech or financial services
  • Proven experience in mobile app architecture (iOS, Android, cross-platform solutions) with strong Kotlin expertise
  • Strong background in web application architecture (React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, .NET, Java, Kotlin)
  • Expertise in API design and microservices architecture (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL, time-series databases)

Fintech Domain Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of payment processing, digital wallets, and financial transaction flows
  • Knowledge of banking APIs, Open Banking standards, and financial data aggregation
  • Experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain, or DeFi technologies (preferred)
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services
  • Familiarity with financial data standards (ISO 20022, FIX protocol)

Leadership & Communication

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring technical teams
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with real-time trading platforms or investment management systems
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in fintech
  • Experience with regulatory technology (RegTech) solutions
  • Background in cybersecurity and risk management
  • Experience with digital identity and fraud detection systems
  • Previous experience in startups or high-growth technology companies

Security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSL/TLS, PKI, HSM, biometric authentication

Financial APIs: Plaid, Yodlee, Open Banking APIs, SWIFT, payment processors
