Mandatory Skills Database Developer , Azure SQL Managed Instance , Stored Procedures, Triggers, Scheduling, Data Migration, Etl Developer, SQL Server, Data Pipeline Experience 6 to 8 Years Location Bengaluru Job Description Required skills and technologies - Extensive Expertise in Azure SQL Managed Instance (SQL MI). - Advanced proficiency in SQL programming and DBMS. - Writing Stored Procedures, Functions,triggers,Indexing. - Experience with database migration tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF). - Strong understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines. - Proven experience in database architecture, design, and ER modeling. - Skilled in performance tuning, query optimization, and batch processing. - Knowledge of data security, backup, recovery, and compliance standards. - Familiarity with database monitoring tools and analysis. - Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, T-SQL, or others). - Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals(DP 900) or Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) or equivalent. Education Qualificaiton B.Tech Job Title Senior Database Developer Roles & Responsibilities About the Role: - You will design, implement, and maintain database systems to support web application and services. - Your role involves optimizing database performance and ensuring data integrity and security. - You will collaborate closely with developers and other stakeholders to align database design with application requirements. About the Team: - You will be part of a dynamic and skilled team of database professionals committed to achieving excellence. - You will have opportunities to mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth through innovation. You are Responsible for: - Design and develop scalable database architecture. - Database migration from legacy system to Azure SQL Managed Instance using Azure Data Factory and other ETL tools. - Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for advanced data processing. - Perform database performance tuning and query optimization. - Implement data security measures, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. - Manage batch job processing, triggers, scheduled jobs and automate data workflows. - Monitor database health using Azure tools and perform root cause analysis for problems. - Collaborate on database design and implementation with developers and infrastructure teams. - Maintain data integrity and consistency during migration and operations. - Document migration plans, architecture, and technical details for project and compliance purposes. - Monitoring and tuning database performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing necessary improvements. - Ensuring effective backup and recovery strategies are in place to safeguard critical data.
