We are looking for a Senior ORMB Developer with deep expertise in the Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) and Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB). This role demands strong technical acumen to build and lead development of complex components, collaborate with global teams, and mentor junior developers. You’ll be instrumental in designing scalable architectures, implementing solutions, and enhancing the overall ORMB delivery capability for our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop advanced ORMB components, including algorithms, batches, business services, and scripting, using the OUAF framework.Design and build interfaces using ORMB File Framework and Batch multithreading framework.Analyze functional/technical requirements to produce robust technical designs aligned with ORMB best practices.Lead discussions with customer architecture teams to define integration and technical architecture standards.Participate in hiring by conducting technical interviews and contribute to building reusable assets and accelerators.Define and execute data migration strategies, lead SIT/UAT, troubleshoot issues, and provide mentorship to junior team members.Design and structure reporting data models to support client-specific reporting needs.Qualifications & SkillsMandatory8+ years of experience with ORMB, CCB, and OUAF application developmentExpertise in PL/SQL, OUAF architecture, and ORMB component developmentStrong working knowledge of Core Java/J2 EE, Hibernate, and Oracle DatabaseExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or related disciplineGood-to-HaveExperience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming)Familiarity with performance tuning (DB, Web Logic configurations)Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or related cloud platformsSelf-Assessment QuestionsTo assess your readiness for this role, ask yourself:Do I have hands-on experience working with ORMB, CCB, and the OUAF framework in real-world implementation projects?Am I proficient in developing ORMB components such as algorithms, batches, business services, and scripting?Do I have strong command over PL/SQL, and have I applied it in the context of Oracle billing or revenue management systems?Have I worked with Core Java, J2 EE, Hibernate, and Oracle DB in a full-stack or integration-focused environment?Am I confident in communicating complex technical ideas clearly, both in writing and verbally, to customers and internal teams?
