Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement and Supply Chain with a proven track record in procurement and supply chain management with a minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience to join our team in Bangalore. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, manage vendor relationships, and optimize procurement operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and a proactive approach to maintaining high-quality standards and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute effective procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
Negotiate favorable contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and reliability.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, evaluating their performance regularly.
Foster clear and effective communication with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless procurement operations.
Ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials to support production schedules.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, implementing efficient reorder processes.
Lead and oversee the procurement team, ensuring streamlined processes and high performance.
Ensure strict compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Kannada for effective communication.
Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
Strong skills in negotiation and vendor management.
Familiarity with procurement software and Microsoft Office tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
