The role requires a strong understanding of AutoCAD, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain organized project files.  Core responsibilities Create drawings: Develop and produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, blueprints, and models using AutoCAD software based on project specifications and sketches. Collaborate with teams: Work with engineers, architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand design objectives and project requirements. Review and revise: Review technical documents and sketches, and make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from the project team. Ensure compliance: Verify that all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications, performing quality checks on dimensions and details. Manage files: Organize, update, and maintain project files, drawings, and documentation. Prepare documentation: Compile data and specifications, and generate reports or other necessary project documentation.  Key skills and qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD software is essential. Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and industry-specific standards. Ability to interpret and translate conceptual designs into precise technical drawings. Excellent spatial reasoning, mathematical skills, and analytical thinking. Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
