Job Description : We are looking for an experienced SAP PI Developer with 5-8 years of expertise in SAP Integration, including SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and SAP PO (Process Orchestration). The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive understanding of technical, functional, and architectural integration with Cloud, On-premises SAP systems, and Third-Party Applications. As an SAP PI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex integration solutions to streamline and optimize business processes. Roles and Responsibilities : Design and Development : - Develop, configure, and implement complex integrations within SAP CPI, SAP PO, and other cloud/on-premises systems. - Design and build custom iFlows and define integration patterns for different use cases (such as message transformations, enrichers, splitters, etc.). - Handle integration with SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC) and third-party applications via various adapters like IDocs, SOAP, REST, SFTP, RFC, and others. Message Mapping & Transformation : - Design complex message mappings, Java mappings, and parameterized mappings to meet business requirements. - Create and maintain value mappings, lookups, and user-defined functions (UDF, UDS) to support data transformation. Security and Connectivity : - Manage security artifacts and implement encryption/decryption mechanisms and SSH keys for secure data communication. - Implement communication channels with third-party applications via different protocols such as HTTP, SFTP, SOAP, and REST. Error Handling & Troubleshooting : - Provide exception handling solutions in complex iFlows and handle issues related to message processing, monitoring, and troubleshooting. - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to connectivity, data mapping, and system integration. SAP BTP & Cloud Integration : - Work extensively with SAP BTP cloud cockpit, Cloud Integration, API management, Cloud Connector, and Open Connector for seamless system integration. - Leverage Event Mesh and other BTP services to ensure effective cloud-based integration solutions. Development and Scripting : - Write complex logic in Java and Groovy scripting to meet custom integration requirements. - Implement business logic, data transformations, and other required functionalities using scripting languages. Transport and Change Management : - Experience in handling PI transport mechanisms (CTS/File), with a clear understanding of the change process and how to manage development and production environments effectively. Collaboration and Communication : - Work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including functional and technical teams, to deliver high-quality solutions. - Provide technical support and knowledge sharing with team members, ensuring best practices are followed. Documentation & Support : - Create and maintain clear documentation for integration processes, message mappings, configurations, and error handling procedures. - Provide ongoing support, including issue resolution and performance monitoring of integration systems. Required Skills : - 5-8 years of experience in SAP PI (Process Integration) and SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration). - Strong expertise in integrating SAP with Cloud and On-premises systems. - Extensive experience with technical adapters (Proxy, IDocs, RFC, REST, SOAP, OData, HTTPS, SFTP, JMS, JDBC). - Advanced knowledge of complex message mappings, Java mappings, lookups, UDF/UDS, ALE settings, SPROXY, and SOA Manager. - Proficient in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) cloud cockpit, Cloud Integration, API Management, Cloud Connector, and Open Connector. - Strong experience with Java and Groovy scripting for custom logic. - Expertise in security mechanisms for data transfer, including encryption and decryption protocols. - Familiarity with the PI Transport mechanism (CTS/File) and change management processes. - Experience in using CPI pallet options (integration patterns - message transformations, enricher, splitter, etc.). - Prior experience with MFT (Managed File Transfer), ETL/Data Services (BODS/SLT/SDI) is an advantage. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with BTP cloud, API Management, MFT, and ETL/Data Services (BODS/SLT/SDI). - Understanding of SAP Cloud solutions and their integration with third-party applications. - Experience in defining and executing technical documentation, including integration scenarios and configurations.
