Development Operations Engineer

Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Intermediate DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize deployment workflows, enhance system observability, and manage complex cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for complex, multi-environment workflows, supporting applications in QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters (e.g., AKS), including ingress configurations, monitoring, and scaling strategies.
• Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to provision and manage infrastructure across Azure, including Key Vaults, Blob Storage, and AKS.
• Ensure secure and efficient configuration of Azure services, such as managing access policies for Key Vault or configuring managed identities.
• Collaborate with development teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure and application performance using DataDog.
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes to prevent recurring problems.
• Manage integrations with enterprise SSO systems and secure application credentials in compliance with organizational standards.
• Contribute to enhancing existing automation scripts and workflows using Python, Ansible, or Groovy.

Qualifications

• Proficient in creating and managing complex CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including managing ingress controllers, scaling, and persistence volumes.
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure as code best practices.
• Solid understanding of Azure services and cloud architecture.
• Experience in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• Familiarity with DataDog for monitoring and observability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred

• 13+ years of total IT experience, with at least 5 years of relevant DevOps experience.
• Experience with enterprise-grade security configurations (e.g., SSO, RBAC).
• Knowledge of advanced deployment strategies, including canary or blue-green deployments.
• Experience with Azure Application Gateway or similar ingress solutions.
