Asa member of the plumbing team you will contribute to the missionby:
  • Performingand directing others in detailed building design includingequipment sizing and selection plumbing waste and vent plumbingwater supply and gas plumbing riser diagrams and isometrics andrelated engineeringcalculations.
  • Providingtechnical guidance and training to more juniorstaff.
  • Ensuringthat design standards and quality control procedures are followedand that designs comply with federal state and localcodes.
  • Mentoringmore junior staff and developing them for growth within theirdiscipline and thefirm.

Requirements
  • Bachelorof Science in Mechanical Engineering(BSME).
  • 4years of building design experience(Plumbing).
  • Proficiencywith Revit andBluebeam.
  • Experiencefilling the role of project engineer for several projects occurringconcurrently.
  • Strongunderstanding and knowledge of industrycodes.
PreferredQualifications
  • Modularconstructionexperience.
  • Experiencemanaging two or more people on a projectteam.
  • Engineerin Training (EIT) certification US based work experience and anunderstanding and knowledge of industry codes including the UniformPlumbing Code (UPC) International Building Code (IBC) andInternational Plumbing Code(IPC).
  • Understandingof California Building Energy EfficiencyStandards.

Benefits

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). 4+ years ofbuilding design experience (Plumbing). Proficiency with Revit andBluebeam. Experience filling the role of project engineer forseveral projects occurring concurrently. Strong understanding andknowledge of industry codes. Preferred Qualifications Modularconstruction experience. Experience managing two or more people ona project team. Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, US basedwork experience, and an understanding and knowledge of industrycodes, including the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), InternationalBuilding Code (IBC), and International Plumbing Code (IPC).Understanding of California Building Energy Efficiency Standards.Skills & Abilities Comprehensive knowledge and multi-disciplineexperience in planning, designing, and constructing large-scaleprojects.
