PURPOSE OF THE ROLE As a Business Analyst focused on Healthcare within the AXA GBS Industrial Automation Division, you will play an important role in establishing our newly formed unit Industrial Automation by delivering projects to increase the efficiency of AXA GBS and our Entities. Specialized in automation, you will be at the forefront of identifying, assessing, and implementing automation solutions that enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and drive innovation. This is essential to support AXA’s Tech Data and Operations three-year strategy. You are empowered to jointly co-create our automation services within the Industrial Automation Division and to deliver the best value for our AXA Entities, thereby working within several projects in a continuous process of development. The Industrial Automation Division will run, once the automation projects have been delivered, these services by creating robust and resilient approaches including mechanisms to track harvested benefits. This role is ideal for a results-driven Business Analyst with a passion for automation. It requires deep analytical skills and attention to detail. It is a role of strategic importance for AXA Group and a fundamental new service area for AXA GBS as part of our own AXAllence Strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Automation Strategy: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute an automation strategy, identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the Healthcare domain.
AXA - GBS Public Requirements Gathering: • Work closely with business units to understand their needs, gather requirements, and define automation project scopes. • Gather and document detailed business requirements related to Healthcare insurance processes of products, claims, underwriting, and policy administration. Process Analysis & Optimization: • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing Healthcare insurance business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. • Work with IT and development teams to design automation solutions, including selecting the appropriate tools and technologies to achieve automation goals. • Work with IT and development teams to Implement automation solutions, including data capture, task automation, and workflow optimization. Solution Assessment: • Evaluate and recommend automation technologies, tools, and platforms to meet business needs. Business Case Development: • Create compelling business cases and ROI assessments for automation projects to secure buyin from stakeholders. Project Management: • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of automation projects, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment. • Prioritize and manage several open issues at a time Data & Feasibility Analysis: • Utilize data analysis to assess the effectiveness of automation solutions and make data-driven recommendations for improvements. • Analyze Healthcare insurance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvements and risk mitigation. • Assess the feasibility of automation projects, considering technical, financial, and operational aspects. Continuous Improvement: • Monitor the performance of automated processes and identify areas for continuous improvement. Training and Documentation: • Develop and deliver training materials for end-users and create documentation for automated processes. Compliance: • Ensure that automation solutions comply with relevant industry regulations and internal standards. Communication: • Effectively communicate the benefits, progress, and results of automation initiatives to stakeholders at all levels. PROFILE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on automation, process improvement, or digital transformation. • Strong proficiency in process analysis, requirement gathering, and project management. • In-depth knowledge of Healthcare insurance value chain around products, underwriting, claims, and policy administration. AXA - GBS Public • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and presentation abilities. • Understanding of automation technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, and artificial intelligence. • Project management experience and familiarity with project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCBA) are a plus
