JobDescription:

As a Data AnalystIntern at Datahut you will be at the intersection of data andmarketing. Your primary responsibilities will involve scraping datafrom various sources cleaning and organizing this data and thenvisualizing it in a manner that is both insightful and actionable.You will work closely with our data science and marketing team tosupport ongoing projects andinitiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Developand implement web scrapers to gather information from specifiedsources using Python and libraries such as BeautifulSoup(BS4).
  • Clean and preprocess raw data to ensureits quality and readiness for analysis.
  • Analyzecleaned data to identify patterns trends andinsights.
  • Create compelling visualizations ofthe data using Python libraries such as Matplotlib Seaborn orsimilar tools.
  • Collaborate with team members tosupport data analysis and projectobjectives.
  • Document all processes andmethodologies used in data scraping cleaning andvisualization.

Qualifications:

  • Currentlypursuing or completed courses in Computer Science Data ScienceStatistics or a related field.
  • Proficient inPython with handson experience using libraries like BeautifulSoupPandas NumPy and Matplotlib/Seaborn for data scraping processingand visualization.
  • Familiarity with webtechnologies (HTML CSS) and an understanding of the structure ofweb pages.
  • Strong analytical skills with theability to collect organize analyze and disseminate significantamounts of information with attention to detail andaccuracy.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills andcreativity in finding solutions to datarelatedissues.
  • Ability to work independently as wellas part of a team.
  • Effective communicationskills with the ability to present data insights to nontechnicalteam members.
