The Senior Standards and Governance Coordinator is a key figure in bridging the gap between business requirements and governance standards. This professional will evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, develop and implement solutions that ensure compliance with governance standards, and monitor software requests to provide enough time to complete all purchase or renewal steps. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in business analysis, a firm grasp of governance principles, and the ability to facilitate change within the organization.

About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior Standards and Governance Coordinator, you will:

Review new or renewing software requests.

Ensure the software purchase process is being followed, which is designed to ensure the correct software is being purchased by reducing duplicate software with similar functionality.

Liaise with stakeholders to make sure they have completed the request form properly, answering any questions they might have.

Identify and resolve any roadblocks.

Work with process owners and IT to ensure that business requirements are aligned with governance standards and technological capabilities.

Support the design and delivery of training programs on governance standards and business processes.

Assist with the integration of governance standards into business operations, ensuring that they are practical and value-adding.

Provide analytical support for project teams and assist with the implementation of governance-related projects.

About You
You're a fit for the role of Senior Standards and Governance Coordinator if your background includes:

Solid experience in a business analysis role, with a focus on standards and governance.

Understanding of best practices in business analysis and governance principles.

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Strong communication skills, capable of working with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively.

PMP or other relevant professional certifications.

Three years’ experience in a business analyst role.
