Test web APIs manually by sending various types of requests and verifying responses.

Automation Testing:


Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications and web APIs.

Use tools like Selenium, Appium, Postman, and other relevant frameworks for automation.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing.

Analyze automated test results and identify root causes of failures.

Benchmarking:


Establish benchmarking standards for mobile applications and web APIs to evaluate performance and reliability.

Conduct performance and load testing to ensure applications and APIs meet performance criteria.

Identify bottlenecks and work with development teams to implement improvements.

Defect Management:


Document and report defects clearly and concisely, providing detailed steps for reproduction.

Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.

Retest resolved defects to ensure proper fixes.

Collaboration and Communication:


Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.

Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Provide clear and timely communication regarding testing progress, issues, and risks.

Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in manual and automated testing of mobile applications and web APIs.

Strong knowledge of testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter, and others.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Experience with performance and load testing.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
