Job Summary :

The SAP Senior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions, including integration development across SAP and non-SAP systems. This role requires advanced expertise in SAP ABAP and BTP Integration Suite, ensuring seamless data exchange and integration between diverse systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Experience : 8 to 10 Years

Key Responsibilities :

Mentoring & Leadership :

- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and team members.

- Lead Technical QA and code reviews, share best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards and guidelines.

Development & Customization :

- Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions using ABAP, ABAP Objects.

- Work on complex bespoke SAP customizations, enhancements, and modifications as per business needs.

- Develop interfaces, reports, enhancements and programs to optimize business processes within SAP systems.

Integration Development :

- Lead the development of integration solutions between SAP and external systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite, REST/SOAP APIs, and other integration technologies.

- Design and implement custom integrations to ensure real-time data exchange between SAP and non-SAP applications.

- Troubleshoot integration issues, ensuring timely resolution and system stability.

Solution Architecture & Design :

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design scalable and efficient SAP solutions.

- Lead technical discussions to identify appropriate integration patterns and design best-fit integration solutions.

- Develop detailed technical specifications for integration flows.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Work closely with business analysts, functional teams, and third-party vendors to understand requirements, propose solutions, and ensure technical feasibility.

- Collaborate with external teams on integrations involving non-SAP systems, ensuring proper data mapping and process alignment.

- Communicate status, risks, and issues effectively to management, project managers and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and industry best practices, especially in SAP integration methodologies.

- Identify opportunities for improving development processes, enhancing system performance, and reducing operational risks.

- Drive innovation in the team by exploring new SAP functionalities, APIs, and integration capabilities (e.g., SAP BTP).

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Develop unit test plans, perform debugging, and validate code for accuracy, performance, and reliability.

- Work closely with functional teams to ensure integration solutions meet functional and technical requirements.

- Address post-deployment issues and ensure smooth transition to BAU status.
