It involves a mix of top-down and bottom-up approach as the need may be;

product wise and regionwise targets;

guide the team for preparation of budget and business profitabilityReview the progress against targets on a periodic basis and prepare reports on the target achievements. Also, help businesses to understand the variance and come-up with corrective action.Prepare capital and revenue budgets in coordination with the respective departments and present to Senior Management Prepare and submit, branch & region review reports and other performance reports for evaluation and review to the management/ board of directorsContinuously scan the market environment on performance of peer banks on Ujjivan’s focus regions and various customer segments;

provide strategic information to the senior leadership.Work closely with IT team and BI implementation team for implementation/customizations required in the IT platforms which are required based on Ujjivan’s needsCustomerTrack competition and analyze market intelligenceInternal ProcessBuild a top level, forecasting model to analyze current businessProvide necessary financial analysis reports to the senior leadership team and various business heads within the specified timelines. Conduct Branch Profitability analysis for all regions;

prepare score card for various verticals up to LO/ RO levelPrepare monthly MIS for board highlighting the key achievements of all departmentsConduct Business Review- Monthly business & financial performance analysis, detailed income expense variance analysis, analysis of performance against budget in Ujjivan levelEnsure adherence to all new business processes and process changes are in line with the guidelines prescribed by the RBI and other regulatory bodies.Learning & PerformanceEnsure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self.Ensure goal-setting, midyear -review and annual appraisal process happens within specified timelines for self.Train FAs/ AM – FP&S to independently handle one business vertical.Qualification: An MBA/PGDM (Finance)/ CFA/ CA/ Professional Finance Degree Desired Experience: 3+ years’ experience in Financial Planning & analysis preferred
