We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Automation QA Engineer to join our QA team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. Your role will play a critical part in our development process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual QA to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
  • Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and performance testing using automation tools.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
  • Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA, and verify fixes.
  • Continuously improve test automation coverage and framework scalability.
  • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprint ceremonies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • (2-5+) years of experience in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#.
  • Experience with one or more automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit.
  • Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and tools like Postman or RestAssured.
  • Good knowledge of software testing methodologies, test design, and defect tracking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹15, ₹40,000.00 per month
