Position: ETL Tester

Experience: 6+ years

Location: Kharadi , Pune

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 Days.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Data Warehousing (DWH)/Datamart, BI Testing, and Selenium automation. The candidate should possess excellent SQL skills and a proven track record in testing ETL processes and BI reports. As an ETL Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data warehouse, data mart, and business intelligence solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes, data warehousing, and BI reports.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of ETL workflows, data transformation processes, and data loading procedures.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of ETL jobs and data pipelines.
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency within the data warehouse and data marts.
  • Create and maintain automated test suites using Selenium for BI reports and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
  • Identify and report defects, issues, and anomalies in the data, ETL processes, and BI reports.
  • Work closely with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to ensure the quality and reliability of the data solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, data validation, and troubleshooting activities to support the ETL processes and BI solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices within the organization.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in ETL testing, data warehousing, and BI testing.
  • Strong expertise in Data Warehousing (DWH)/Datamart concepts and methodologies.
  • Proficient in SQL querying, complex joins, subqueries, and data validation.
  • Experience in testing BI reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
  • Hands-on experience in Selenium automation for testing BI solutions.
  • Solid understanding of ETL tools and technologies such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data mapping, and data profiling techniques.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or other big data technologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
