About the Job:
As an Alexa Developer You will design and development of an Amazon Alexa SDK to collect information from devices at customer’s home and connect to electricity distributors so that they can implement flexibility trials . Flexibility means switching on off customer appliances remotely when their is sufficient electricity available on the grid.

Key Responsibilities :
- Design and development of an Amazon Alexa SDK to collect information from devices at customer’s home and connect to electricity distributors so that they can implement flexibility trials . Flexibility means switching on off customer appliances remotely when their is sufficient electricity available on the grid
- Work on every layer of the full system stack, from interaction with core AWS services to API design and implementation, to designing and building user interfaces to delight our customers
- Participate in the development and maintenance of key ML systems and infrastructure for NLU in Alexa with the goal to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules
- Contribute best-in-class programming skills to develop highly innovative, consumer-facing mobile apps
- Be responsible for the end to end ownership of a technology team, including setting the technical vision for developing our systems to serve Alexa's needs.
- Hands-on programming experience in Python, Java, C++, and other object-oriented languages and have a deep understanding of object-oriented design
- Design and architect end to end solutions on AWS and provide solution demo to the customer
- Hands-on experince in Kafka,SPLUNK,Glue, PySpark, EMR, Lambda, DynamoDB, OpenSearch
- Experience in Data pipeline design and development using Kafka, Splunk, Glue and EMR
- Data storage design using Dynamo and Opensearch
- Configuration and set up of AWS services for above data pipelines
- Experience with integration of different data sources with Data Lake is required, design and implement data pipelines
- Experience in creating data platform for Reporting, AI and Machine Learning
- To be able to clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms
- Experience in create the Technical Specification Design
