Purpose of Position The job incumbent is responsible for Quality Assurance & Quality Control of the construction works at different stages. The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy. Major Responsibilities Facilitate problem-solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors during construction. Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions. Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals. Reviewing contractor drawings and installation method statements to ensure they comply with the MEP design plan. Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings. Assist in the scoping review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change work order. Assist in the installation of MEP work. Direct, monitor, and control the activities of the MEP Subcontractor. Coordinating and administrating MEP-related materials, systems, and shop drawings. Liaison with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors, and relevant staff. Undertaking off-site inspections of MEP equipment and materials to ensure compliance with regulations and project suitability. Ensure that MEP Subcontractors provide and adhere to relevant Quality documentation/records. Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adhere to Project safety regulations. Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment. Roles & Responsibilities for HSE Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations. To comply company HSE requirements . policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others. Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE . any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers. Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects. Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs) Maintain timely delivery of inspection reports No of quality checks/inspections carried out Identification and closure of NCRs in time Implementation of QAP/SOPs Ensuring zero customer complaints Compliance of internal and external accreditation guidelines, policies, procedures Internal and external customer service satisfaction (. number of complaints) Qualification, Experience & Technical Knowledge Degree in mechanical/electrical, and plumbing Engineering or a MEP course with minimum 8 years of experience. Skills & Qualities: Should be proficient in basic Computer Applications- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Should have fair knowledge in Civil Engineering software packages like Autocad, Revit & any other. Should have good communication skill Should be able to communicate in Hindi, English
