About the Role

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in testing applications built with
Python, FastAPI, and MongoDB
. The QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring our applications are robust, reliable, and deliver a seamless user experience. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to design and execute both manual and automated tests.

The budget for the position is between 2-5 LPA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for APIs, databases, and UI workflows.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites for Python/FastAPI services.
  • Validate data integrity and query performance in
    MongoDB
    .
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Develop test scripts in
    Python
    for automation and API validation.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure proper test coverage during the SDLC.
  • Use defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) to document, track, and manage issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide input on testability and quality improvements.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI/GitHub Actions) to integrate automated testing.
  • Ensure QA best practices are followed in an
    Agile/Scrum environment
    .

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 months of experience as a Python Developer or QA Tester.
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Python
    for writing test scripts and automation.
  • Experience testing
    REST APIs
    built with
    FastAPI (or similar Python frameworks)
    .
  • Knowledge of
    MongoDB
    queries, schema validation, and performance testing.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured, Pytest-HTTPX).
  • Experience working with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
