Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant – Contract Role

Locations: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Pune (Hybrid / Onsite)

Job Type: Contract (6 to 12 Months – Extendable)

Experience: 4–8 Years

Start Date: Immediate or Short Notice

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom SAP programs using ABAP Workbench (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Work on RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

• Implement and troubleshoot User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, BDCs, ALV Reports, and SmartForms/Adobe Forms.

• Collaborate with functional consultants from SD/MM/FICO/PP modules to support business requirements.

• Participate in unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support UAT.

• Optimize and debug existing ABAP code to improve performance.

• Follow standard SAP development practices and documentation procedures.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

o Classical and Interactive Reports

o Module Pool Programming

o BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements

o SmartForms / Adobe Forms / SAP Scripts

o ALV Reports

o Data Dictionary (Tables, Views, Structures)

• Experience in RFCs, IDOCs, BAPI integration with external systems.

• Strong understanding of integration with SAP functional modules (MM, SD, FI, PP, etc.).

• Experience with S/4HANA ABAP (preferred but not mandatory).

Nice to Have:

• SAP Certification in ABAP or related modules.

• Knowledge of OData / CDS Views / Fiori.
