About the Role

As a Journey Expert you will be responsible for improving the customer experience across Core Finance Systems by solving business problems, optimising existing end-to-end customer journeys while demonstrating in-depth knowledge of Finance Systems and domain.

This role is seen as a Subject Matter Expert to assist, guide and impart work-based knowledge to other team members as required.

The role requires incumbent to demonstrate strong functional expertise to create end to end processes, actively lead performance improvement initiatives.

The role requires incumbent to demonstrate and establish strong communication with the stakeholders and influence outcomes by leading business/process conversations.

The role supports CFS Support & Ops lead in managing the team & delivering to agreed Customer Service Levels

What will your day look like?

Detailed functional or technical working knowledge of Oracle Hyperion Suite of Applications like Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Essbase, Planning, DRM/DRG, and/or Certent Disclosure Management (CDM).

Experience in working with End User Support teams and willingness to work across 24/7 Shift Schedule

Comprehensive understanding of the Finance Eco System and Finance Processes, it’s customers and the related business drivers in the context of the desired outcomes

Well versed with elicitation techniques and competent in gathering and articulating requirements. Knowledge of tools and frameworks that can enhance process of requirement gathering.

Performs SIT, UAT, Production Verifications and provides the Sign off

Change Management - Preparing, equipping, and supporting people to successfully adopt change to drive organisational outcomes.

Self-Driven with the ability to motivate and influence Squads towards high vale deliverables.

Leads with ETE accountability on functional SME leadership for all HFM/CDM Support squads.

Provides test strategy and planning to ensure maximum value is achieved for Finance community with each backlog item.

Collaborates with PO, Squads & OPS Leads to provide understanding on User Stories/Epics and provide a view of business importance.

When needed undertake analysis of escalated user support and operational tasks and liaise with other business and technology areas for resolution.

Undertake/co-ordinate maintenance of the system and coordination with Technology areas as require.

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Business Tools: Detailed working knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management and/or Certent Disclosure Management (Desired)

Secondary Skills: Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Essbase Administration Services, Hyperion DRM 11.1.2.X, Hyperion Shared Services and Hyperion EPMA. (Optional)

Reporting Tools: Smart View Excel Add-In. (Desired)

Database query writing and management (PL/SQL ).

Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously or with a team.

High level of relationship building and influencing skills and a good oral and written communication skills.

Minimum of 8 years of functional experience working in Hyperion modules and/or CDM

Creating Hyperion Structure/Dimensions (BU Setup, Currency Setup, Tree Maintenance, etc.)

Setting Installation Options & Common Definitions

Proactively ensures that the application and underlying infrastructure are secure, running properly, and are responsive.

Perform regular production support, monthly & quarterly maintenance activities, and provide troubleshooting of user-identified problems

Maintain backups, disaster recovery, resource utilization, and other regular and periodical operational and analytical tasks.

Strong knowledge on DRM\DRG concepts

Hyperion Reports & Enquiries - Creation, Troubleshooting Issue

Tertiary qualification in business, accounting or technology.

Knowledge of accounting, reconciliation and financial reporting processes
