Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled AWS Engineer with 23 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing AWS environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, and compliance monitoring.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud costs.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines for application deployment using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Manage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like ECS/EKS/Kubernetes.
- Work with development and DevOps teams to support scalable, highly available applications.
- Perform backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.
- Provide technical support and documentation for cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering / DevOps.
- Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM).
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with Terraform / CloudFormation for IaC.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell).
- Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancing, VPN, Security Groups).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
- Basic knowledge of containers (Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
- AWS Certification (Associate level) is a plus.
