together .What role you will play in our teamWe are looking for experienced engineers with an emphasis on Wells Engineering and Wells Procurement Quality to provide wells engineering support across ExxonMobil’s global portfolio.ExxonMobil is a long-term career orientated company where you will have opportunities to develop your skills while working across different projects and business functions on a global scale.What you will doProvide engineering support in drilling, completions, and well performance area to ExxonMobil global wells teams leveraging modeling, analysis and engineering insightsMonitor drilling / production data and provide insights and recommendations to decision makers based on reasoning and engineering prowessWork directly with Wells teams to provide design and / or operational support for safe and cost-effective operationsProvide production well surveillance to establish trends, recognize deviations, and identify data quality issuesGenerate plots and reports to communicate well performance and leverage ExxonMobil subject matter expert advice and company best practices to improve performanceCollaborate with engineers and operations personnel on global asset teamsOperations engineering activities – provide dedicated field support in well performance, production optimization, artificial lift, well intervention opportunity identification, economic analysis, OPEX evaluation, completions and procedure generationIntegrate with adjacent disciplines – facilities, reservoir & geoscience teams to provide synergistic solutions to global wells teamsAbout YouSkills and Qualifications

Bachelor or Master’s Degree from a recognized university in petroleum, mechanical, chemical, civil, or electrical engineering with minimum CGPA 7.5 and above.Minimum 3 years of work experience in Oil and Gas Industry specializing in either Drilling, Completions or workovers.Strong analytical skills to evaluate critical design & operating parameters through data and trend analysisExperience in wells design, well performance monitoring, troubleshooting or optimization of well performance and well managementKnowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including:

Well construction – Drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring.Well completions – Completion designs, well performance analysis, operational considerations & well operability limits.Well management – Production analysis & optimization, well performance methods, well intervention techniques, various artificial lift methods and systems.

Demonstrated ability to cooperate effectively in a team environmentFlexibility to work in shifts, with opportunities to leverage flexible work hoursPosition is Bangalore-based with potential for international travelPreferred Qualifications / ExperienceField experience at a rig site, wellsite, or production facility is preferredExperience in programming languages such as Python is preferred but not requiredExperience working in Tableau or Power BI or Spotfire is preferred but not requiredExperience with engineering applications such as WellCat, WellView, CARTE is preferred but not requiredYour benefitsAn ExxonMobil career is one designed to last.
