Job Description Position Objectives: The role involves leading the conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering of large-scale pipeline projects across Argentina and other regional locations. The engineer will be responsible for contributing at every stage of the project lifecycle, from the initial feasibility and design concepts through to fully detailed, construction-ready engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: Pipeline Engineering: Design and develop engineering solutions for gas pipelines, oil pipelines, water pipelines, and slurry pipelines , ensuring compliance with international standards, local regulations, and project specifications. Documentation & Review: Prepare, review, and validate technical documentation, including design reports, engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives. Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, and project management) to ensure smooth integration of pipeline designs within larger infrastructure projects. Act as the key technical coordinator within the pipeline engineering specialty. Experience: 10–15 years of proven expertise in engineering and/or construction of pipeline infrastructure, including large-scale cross-country or industrial pipelines. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields . Strong technical foundation in pipeline design, hydraulics, materials, and construction methods. Requirements: Language: Proficiency in English (intermediate level or above) for communication across international teams. Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office ; familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage (but not mandatory). Solid knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and best practices in pipeline design and construction. Ideal Candidate Profile: A seasoned pipeline engineer with hands-on experience in both design and construction phases, capable of leading technical activities, coordinating teams, and delivering high-quality engineering documentation. Strong analytical, communication, and project coordination skills are essential.
