Role Overview: Production Executive – RM & Process (SFG Department)

Type:
Full-Time (On-Site)

Reports To:
Production Manager / Plant Head

Job Purpose:

To supervise the complete raw milk processing cycle—from receipt to final product—ensuring efficiency, hygiene, and compliance with all safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Raw Milk Handling

  2. Supervise milk receipt, quality testing (fat/SNF, temperature, hygiene).

  3. Monitor storage conditions in chilled tanks.

  4. Separation & Clarification

  5. Operate centrifugal separators and clarifiers for cream separation and impurity removal.

  6. Standardization

  7. Adjust fat content as per product requirements.

  8. Work with lab teams to meet quality benchmarks.

  9. Heat Treatment

  10. Oversee pasteurization and homogenization processes to ensure product safety and consistency.

  11. Product-Specific Processing

  12. Execute specific protocols for:

  13. Milk Powder
    (evaporation, drying)
  14. Butter
    (churning, butterfat separation)

  15. Cheese & Cultured Products
    (cultures, incubation)

  16. Packaging & Storage

  17. Coordinate hygienic filling and proper storage (cold chain maintenance).

  18. By-product Management

  19. Handle whey processing and coordinate with waste/utilities teams for efficient use.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Dairy Technology / Food Processing or related fields
  • 1–3 years' experience in dairy or FMCG production (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of milk processing equipment and dairy chemistry
  • Knowledge of
    FSSAI
    standards and hygiene protocols
  • Team coordination and shift-handling abilities

Work Conditions

  • Factory-based role with shift operations
  • Work in cold/wet processing areas required
