This role requires a dynamic approach and the ability to manage a variety of tasks to ensure seamless facility operations. Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures. 
  • Plan and manage facility services such as hospitality & housekeeping, catering, safety & security, and space management ensuring that cleaning, maintenance, and security standards are consistently met. 
  • Oversee facility maintenance, cooling systems, electronics & electrical systems, fire systems, surveillance systems etc. 
  • Budget formulation & cost reduction initiatives, vendor engagement, project implementation & execution. 
  • Liaison with various Public & Private agencies. 
  • Manage & upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health & safety standards while complying with industry standards & codes. 
  • Plan and manage facility space allocation and layout. 
  • Coordinate intra-office moves and oversee renovations and office expansions. 
  • Manage contracts and services for vendors and service providers. 
  • Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met. 
  • Manage and lead a team of facility staff, including cleaners, maintenance technicians, and security personnel. 
  • Handle implementation of projects on new technological advancements. 
  • Client & community engagements. 
  • KPI improvements and KRA implementation. 

 

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 
  • Proven experience as a Facility Manager or relevant position. 
  • In-depth understanding of facility management best practices. 
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations. 
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills. 
  • Strong communication, verbal and writing skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently. 
  • Proficient in MS Office and facility management software. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification in Facility Management or similar credentials. 
  • Experience managing budgets and forecasting costs.
