Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative
CTO / Senior UAV Engineer
to lead the development, integration, and production of advanced UAV systems. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise across R&D, software, systems integration, production, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership
    – Strategic planning, team building, cross-functional leadership
  • UAV Systems Engineering
    – Design, development, and deployment of unmanned aerial systems
  • R&D Management
    – Leading innovation from concept through prototyping to production
  • Systems Integration
    – Integration of avionics, payloads, sensors, and software
  • Embedded Software & Controls
    – Development and oversight of flight control systems and onboard software
  • Production Oversight
    – Scaling manufacturing processes, production planning, and optimization
  • Quality Assurance
    – Implementation of QA/QC processes, compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, DO-178C)
  • Project Management
    – Agile methodologies, milestone tracking, and risk management
  • Communication & Collaboration
    – Cross-functional coordination with engineering, product, and executive teams
  • Regulatory Knowledge
    – Familiarity with UAV-related aviation regulations and certifications (e.g., FAA, EASA)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in UAV design, development, and deployment.
  • Strong background in software, systems integration, and aerospace production.
  • Deep understanding of quality systems and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing technical teams and R&D programs.
