Position Title: Head Designs

Department: Design Renewable Energy

Location: Hyderabad

Reporting to: Director / Sr Vice President

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead and manage the in-house engineering team for all solar PV project designs.


• Develop optimized system layouts, SLDs, and detailed engineering drawings using tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope, and other relevant software.


• Ensure compliance with all applicable national and international engineering standards (IS, IEC, IEEE, NEC).


• Oversee technical due diligence, feasibility studies, energy yield assessments, and site evaluations.


• Approve civil and structural designs including mounting systems and foundations.


• Guide the preparation of detailed BoQ, technical specs, and tender documentation.


• Collaborate with procurement, execution, and quality teams to ensure alignment with design specifications.


• Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and O&M phases.


• Coordinate with consultants, EPC contractors, and government agencies as required.


• Foster innovation, design optimization, and value engineering to improve project performance and cost-effectiveness.


• Ensure robust documentation, version control, and compliance with internal quality systems.
