JOB DESCRIPTION Req ID:     We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN). Strong DB2 DBA resource working on z/OS having 6+ years of experience on the below areas: Proven expertise in administering DB2 databases on z/OS . Experience in creating and managing DB2 objects like Databases Tablespace Tables and Indexes, resizing, right buffer pool assignments and lock size modifications in Production and Development regions. Experience with data maintenance utilities and DBA tools, scheduling tools. Experience in Performance tuning, backup/recovery procedures, security, and high availability. Experience in capacity planning, Space/memory Management and Monitoring. Experience in optimization of DB2 objects, queries, buffer pools, and system resources etc for maximum efficiency. Provide 24/7 On-call support for production system on rotation basis to handle DB2 job abends and issues. Support for DB2 upgrade, migration activities and DR and perform checkouts from DBA end Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity to work independently. Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork. Knowledge of best practices in database management.
