We are seeking a Senior DataEngineer with expertise in Looker and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join ourinnovative team. With at least 10 years of overall experience in dataengineering, including a minimum of 5 years working with Looker and GCP, theideal candidate will lead the design, development, and maintenance of LookMLmodels and dashboards. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team ofdevelopers in creating advanced analytics solutions that drive actionableinsights for our clients.

In this role you will….

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of LookML models and dashboards in Looker. Lead the design, development, and maintenance of LookML models and dashboards in Looker. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Build and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data to our analytics platform. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions. Mentor and coach junior developers to foster their growth and development. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Build and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data to our analytics platform. Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions. Mentor and coach junior developers to foster their growth and development.

You’ve got what it takes if you have… 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Looker, including expertise in LookML modeling and dashboard development. 10+ years of overall experience in data engineering, with a strong background in building and optimizing data pipelines. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages. Experience working in an Agile environment and leading a team of developers. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Cloudrun.

An extra dose of awesome if you have… 

Looker certification or equivalent professional certification. Familiarity with machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
