Responsibilities:

  • Security Architecture: Design and implement robust security architectures for mobile applications hosted on Azure.
  • Threat Detection: Monitor and analyze security threats using Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel, and respond to incidents promptly.
  • Access Management: Manage identities and access controls using Azure Active Directory, ensuring secure access to resources.
  • Network Security: Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and NSGs, to protect applications and data.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and frameworks, and implement governance policies in Azure.
  • Data Protection: Implement encryption and data protection measures using Azure Key Vault and other tools.
  • Cloud Security: Secure Azure cloud environments by implementing security best practices and managing cloud security posture.
  • Security Automation: Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, and automate security tasks using scripting languages.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the development team, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure security is integrated into all stages of the development lifecycle.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members, fostering a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve security practices and tools to enhance the security posture of the organization.
