# Role Overview:
Nanogenius Technologies is seeking a skilled Firmware Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in embedded systems and firmware development. The ideal candidate should be ready to work remotely, take on challenging projects, and contribute to cutting-edge semiconductor and electronics solutions.
# Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, debug, and optimize firmware for embedded systems in the semiconductor and electronics domains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to design and implement system-level solutions.
- Write, test, and maintain efficient, reliable, and reusable code.
- Work on communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, BLE, etc.
- Perform firmware testing and validation on hardware prototypes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware-related issues.
- Document designs, processes, and procedures effectively.
# Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in firmware development or embedded systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, BLE).
- Hands-on experience with debugging tools and hardware testing equipment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
