Job Title : Storage and Backup Infrastructure Specialist


Job Description :


- Run the customer's storage and backup infrastructure in a stable, secure, and supported environment, ensuring high uptime and service availability.


- Adhere to ITIL processes and procedures for managing storage and backup services, including incident management, change management, and problem management.


- Follow change management policies, organization CERT measure plans, and InfoSec standards to ensure compliance and minimize risk.


- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network services, including major incidents, root cause analyses (RCAs), Configuration Management Database (CMDB), inventory, Known Error Databases (KEDBs), and technical diagrams.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain storage and backup solutions that meet customer requirements and objectives.


- Take a proactive lead in engaging with customers on a daily basis, providing support and assistance wherever required.


- Participate in on-call rotations and provide support in a 24x7 environment as needed.


- Continuously monitor and optimize storage and backup infrastructure performance, capacity, and reliability.


- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.


Qualifications :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.


- Relevant certifications (e.g., EMCISA, VCP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.


- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in storage and backup infrastructure management, with a strong understanding of storage area networks (SANs), network-attached storage (NAS), and backup technologies.


- Proficiency in ITIL processes and procedures for incident, change, and problem management.


- Experience with change management policies, organization CERT measure plans, and InfoSec standards.
