Lead UX Designer

You will be responsible for :

Lead through ambiguity wearing all hats to address user and business needs considering the design and tech constraints/conscious trade-offs at all times. If needed, hand-hold teams to achieve product maturityPartner with other internal-external CX/UX BUs on need basis to establish/ set the foundation for more cohesive and coherent user experience across product, service linesProactively > Partner with the UX team to enhance team capabilities and participate in self-applied-learning goals carving out your niche career pathsBe a whistle-blower to ensure best practices and foster a culture of oneness within and across teamsLead design ideation sessions with clear agenda and provide clear execution plans consulting and adapting established frameworks. If required, suggest data- driven/tested improvement plan with an urge to drive and make it happenAbility to provide timelines, review > dev outcomes and get closures foreseeing risks, trade-offs led design impact on the release journey within the SDLC designed SOP.Structured documentation on tools like Jira,Aha... in a timely manner and participate actively during the weekly UX huddlesAbility to present quick concept workflows and iterate with purpose- driven mindset embracing other functional teams ideas, rational, ways of working and priorities. Be very mindful to appreciate collective successAbility to derive design expectations from think-aloud sessions(discovery, define) and collaborate with business stakeholders to create a vision and execution map.Ability to create high-fidelity (dev ready) design deliverables that can clearly communicate the design specifics, expectations and also prepare a design-dev hand-off document that developers can refer to during the development sprintExperience mentoring junior designers to level-up in a methodical manner.Passionate about experimental outcomes and considers failure as a critical step to evolve, engage, learn and buildHonest, accommodative and ready to admit on the situations and ability to cut- through the need of the hour.

Your impact:

As a UX Lead designer, you will play a critical role in creating useful, usable, and delightful products working with stakeholders across functions and levels, you/your work will impact at all stages of product development. You’ll explore user behaviors and motivations being part of all research, design, development, review and release phase.

Must have:

Portfolio (two best case study) showcasing your UCD processes led business outcomes. Design outcomes for all form factors is a plusExcellent systems thinker with experience building products imbibing best practices around accessibility, brand ethos, scalable and matured design frameworks.Portfolio demonstrating your applied processes led collaborative and iterative outcomes that were measured and reported for better design outcomes7+ years of digital product design experience and its management at an IC level ( Strong proficiency in problem-solving with appreciable Visual and interactive prototyping skills)Experience in managing design systemsExperience in measuring user experience, identifying and evaluating user journey with supportive situational examples within the portfolioEffective verbal and written communication skills, including presentation writing and deliveryA strong and precise storyteller
