Key Responsibilities :
Device42 Administration :
- Oversee the administration and configuration of the Device42 platform, Ansible,including server deployment, setup, upgrades, and patching.
System Monitoring and Maintenance :
- Monitor the health and performance of the Device42 infrastructure, proactively identify and resolve issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure system stability and availability.
User Support and Training :
- Provide technical support to users, troubleshoot, and resolve their issues, and conduct training sessions to enable efficient utilization of the Device42 platform.
Data Management :
- Manage the data within the Device42 system, including data imports, exports, backups, and recovery procedures, while ensuring data integrity and security.
Integration and Automation :
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate Device42 with existing systems and tools and automate processes to improve efficiency and streamline workflows.
Security and Compliance :
- Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard the Device42 infrastructure and ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and industry standards.
Documentation and Reporting :
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Generate reports and provide insights on system performance and usage metrics.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Device42 environment.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Device42 Administrator or similar role, with expertise in managing and maintaining the Device42 platform.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for system administration tasks.
- Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning to optimize system resources and scalability.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with users and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
