Principal / Senior Engineer – Core Software Product Development

- Were looking for a Principal / Senior Engineer to work on high-performance core software development for one of the worlds leading graph data science product companies.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand and implement design specifications for core product modules.
- Program distributed systems with parallel processing using Golang, C++, or Java.
Develop features for:
- Backup / Restore, Resizing
- Distributed deployment
- Installation, configuration, process management
- Leader election, monitoring & alerts
- Apply best practices for core product engineering.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment with CI/CD.
Proficiency & Skills
Must Have
- Strong knowledge of Distributed Systems architecture & principles.
- Proficiency in Golang or C++.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Zookeeper, Nginx.
- Linux fundamentals & shell scripting.
Nice to Have
- Experience with gRPC protocol.
- Exposure to ETCD / Consul.
- Kubernetes operators & cluster orchestration.
- Familiarity with consensus algorithms ( Paxos / Raft).
