As an IT Auditor you will be working as an intermediate between Info Sec and application teams to ensure that the application/development teams are aligned to our Security policies. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Person will be responsible for the following: Assist the Technology Compliance Audit department in maintaining stability and adherence to audit and regulatory requirements. Support department auditors in gathering data for audit reviews and formal engagements. Ensure adherence to audit and regulatory requirements/mandates. Conduct compliance testing and thoroughly document results. Provide research support and develop work programs and engagement plans. Collaborate with audit team members to enhance audit processes. Produce comprehensive engagement and test planning documents. Analyze results from work requests and define appropriate remediation strategies. Produce and distribute internal training documents. Stay informed and provide updates on audit and regulatory changes at the state and federal level, including updates in PCAOB, CobiT, etc. Experience and familiarity with various IT industry and standards audit is preferred. E.g. HIPAA, SOC II, PCI etc. preferred. Function as an apprentice in understanding the audit and review process, including engagement planning, testing, documentation of findings, and remediation. Ability to work with confidential data. Must have strong prioritization skills in addition to good statistical and critical thinking skills. QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years (2-5 Years) as a Risk Analyst/Information Security Advisor Minimum of 1 year of experience in audit within areas such as information technology, operations, or financial sectors. Certifications such as CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are considered a strong advantage. EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years (2-4 Years) as an IT Auditor Analyst/Information Security Analyst SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Strong data gathering and analysis skills to support audit processes. Proficiency in managing databases and ensuring data integrity for audit purposes. Basic understanding of regulatory frameworks and audit requirements. Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide support as necessary. Willingness to learn and develop skills in the audit and review processes. Experience with technical and process documentation. Strong knowledge of analytical tools for automation is an added advantage.
